ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP AT ANY OF THE UPCOMING NOSSA EVENTS?
The following calendar has been developed so members are aware of upcoming events.
Many of the events listed need volunteers to be successful.
If you are available to help, contact the person listed.
Members are also welcome to attend the committee meetings.
This page will be regularly updated as new events arise
Another part of NOSSA that needs volunteers, is for activities that allow us to function as a society. It is not orchid knowledge that is required but practical support skills. If you think you could help contact: nossa.secretary@gmail.com
Les Nesbitt Orchid Propagation Facility (LNOPF)
Located on Torrens Island, the site is a building that needs currently restoration work. We are expecting to soon have the shadehouse set up and operational.
Currently, we are open every Wednesday, second Sunday and fourth Saturday of the month. It is imperative to book at least 24 hours ahead if you intend to attend any open day so we can book through security.

ADMIN FOCUS WORKING GROUP:
This is an informal group who meet to do the administration task of the management committee. The type of tasks vary considerably. In the past the group has done the application for Charity Status and planned events. We also provide feedback to the committee on issues are uncover.
It is very satisfying because the group runs on the philosophy that many brains (skill sets) make light work. Contributions from other members are always welcomed.
Come and try.
We meet approximately every 3 weeks, according to what suits everyone, at 21A Richards Tce, Goodwood.
